Terms & Conditions

Jumping Beans – Booking Terms & Conditions

By booking a class with Jumping Beans, you confirm that you have read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Payment

Jumping Beans classes are booked in half-term blocks unless otherwise stated. Your child's place is only confirmed once the required booking and payment have been completed.

Fees are payable in advance through our booking system. Once payment has been made, class fees are non-refundable, including where a child chooses not to attend or is unable to attend individual sessions.

An annual £10 Jumping Beans membership fee applies to children who continue with us after their trial session. This is payable before their second session and is renewed annually.

Trial Sessions

Trial sessions may be offered where spaces are available. A trial does not guarantee an ongoing place in that class. If you wish to continue after your trial, you must book and pay for your child's place through the booking system.

Missed Classes

If your child misses their usual session, we may allow them to attend another suitable Jumping Beans class within the same week, subject to availability and agreement with us in advance.

Missed sessions cannot be carried forward into another week or half-term and cannot be refunded or credited.

Cancellations by Jumping Beans

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or change a session due to circumstances such as coach illness, venue issues, extreme weather or another situation affecting the safe running of the class.

Where Jumping Beans cancels a session, we will communicate the options available to affected families. Depending on the circumstances, this may include an alternative session or a credit.

Parents & Supervision

For Wobbly Beans and Runner Beans, a responsible adult must remain with and actively supervise their child throughout the session and follow instructions given by the coaches.

Gym Beans is designed to encourage greater independence. Parents/carers must nevertheless remain on site in the designated café/waiting area for the full duration of the session and be available should their child need them.

Children remain the responsibility of their parent/carer before their class begins and immediately after the class finishes.

Health, Medical Information & Injuries

Parents/carers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information about any medical condition, allergy, injury, disability or additional need that may affect their child's participation.

Please tell a coach before the session if your child has an injury or if there has been a change in their health that we should be aware of.

Gymnastics and physical activity naturally involve an element of risk. Jumping Beans coaches will take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and activities appropriate to the children's age and ability. Parents/carers must ensure children follow coaching instructions and use equipment only as directed.

Clothing & Personal Belongings

Children should attend in suitable clothing that allows them to move safely and comfortably. Jewellery or other items that could present a safety risk should not be worn during sessions.

Jumping Beans cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings brought to classes.

Behaviour & Safety

We want Jumping Beans to be a safe, happy and inclusive environment for every child.

Parents/carers and children are expected to follow reasonable instructions from coaches. We reserve the right to stop a child taking part in an activity where we believe continuing would place them, another child, a coach or another person at risk.

Persistent behaviour that significantly affects the safety or enjoyment of others may be discussed privately with the child's parent/carer so that an appropriate way forward can be agreed.

Photography & Video

Photographs and videos will only be taken and used by Jumping Beans in accordance with the photo/video consent provided by the child's parent or carer.

Consent can be declined and this will not affect your child's ability to participate in Jumping Beans.

We ask parents/carers to be mindful when taking their own photographs or videos and not to photograph or film other children without permission.

Safeguarding & Inclusion

Jumping Beans is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for children and families.

Our Safeguarding, Health, Safety & Welfare, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and Complaints policies are available on the Jumping Beans website. Parents/carers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these policies.

Changes to Classes

We may occasionally need to change a coach, timetable, class structure or other operational arrangements. Where a significant change affects your booking, we will communicate this to you as soon as reasonably possible.

Contact Details

Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring the contact information provided through our booking system remains accurate and up to date so that we can contact you regarding your child's class or in an emergency.

  • you are the child's parent/legal guardian or have authority to make the booking on their behalf;
  • the information you have provided is accurate;
